The 28th IMP Conference will be held in Rome. The Conference will be arranged by the Università Cattolica (www.unicattolica.it) and by the Department of Economic and Business Management Science. The Università Cattolica is characterized by being a single university with a campus extending to six Italian cities.
More and more scholars are interested on how innovation stems from interactional issues and inter-organizational paths. While most of the studies focus on the development of technological innovation, a few of them still dip into the interactional dynamics through which technological innovation is adopted and diffused and on the role of such dynamics on welfare and society.
Thus, research is needed on how technological aspects interact with social dimensions in the development, adoption and diffusion of novation. The 28th IMP Conference will open up a discussion on how the social and technological dimensions of innovation in business relationships and networks combine, and will identify the main implications for research, practice and policy making.
