ICAR7 will take place online from 6th to 9th July 2021 and will be preceded by one day of summer school dedicated to Ph.D. students and young researchers.
From June 28th on, it will be possible to create an account in the digital conference platform.
During the four days, an interactive program will take place daily from 12 a.m. to around 8 p.m. (CEST). In addition, during the first day, the Welcome ceremony is scheduled at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the last day, the Closing ceremony will be at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The program will include: Keynotes, invited symposia and symposia, thematic sessions, blitz presentations, posters, Food for Thought and also some social events.
All presentations will be recorded and available on demand until July 30th to all ICAR7 participants.

Keynotes :14 distinguished Keynote speakers have already confirmed their presence (see here for further details).
Invited symposia and symposia: The four/five presentations included in the symposium will be pre-recorded (no more than 10 minutes each) and will be streamed live at the scheduled time slot. The presenting authors should be online and engage in the live discussion.
Thematic Sessions: Oral presentations will be pre-recorded (no more than 10 minutes) and grouped into thematic sessions and will be streamed live at the scheduled time slot.

Posters: All posters (PDF) with a 2-minute pre-recorded video presentation will be made available on demand throughout the conference on the web platform and will be searchable by topic, author, title, etc. Attendees can post their questions underneath the posters. Authors are expected to be available in chat mode to respond and interact with the audience.
Blitz presentations: Blitz presentations consist of a 5-minute pre-recorded presentation and will be made available on demand throughout the conference on the web platform and will be searchable by topic, author, title, etc. Attendees can post their questions underneath the presentation. Authors are expected to be available in chat mode to respond and interact with the audience.
Food for thought
This event is a live discussion for students only who may interact with senior scholars who have central roles in the field of adoption. This session will occur live and will gather the senior researcher who will discuss a specific issue with a maximum of 20 students. Students can enroll by using a link available from June 28th within the congress platform until capacity is reached.
