Rooms.
From Malpensa Airport:
Take the Malpensa Express train to Cadorna railway station (tickets can be bought at the airport and cost EUR 13). The University is 10 minutes walk from the station.
From Linate Airport:
Option 1: the Airbus Linate – Centrale (Linate airport – Milan central station) departs from Linate airport every 30 minutes (tickets can be bought on the bus and cost EUR 5). When you arrive at Central station, take the metro line M2 (Assago Fforum / Abbiategrasso) and take off at Sant’Ambrogio. The University is 3 minutes walk from the station.
Option 2: take the bus line 73 (direction San Babila) and take off at L.go Augusto. Walk to San Babila metro station and take the metro line M1 (direction Bisceglie/Rho fiera). Take off at Cadorna railway station. The University is 10 minutes walk from the station.
WARNING: the bus line 73 is not very efficient, so avoid option 2 if you can.
From Orio al Serio International Airport (Bergamo):
There are several busses connecting Orio al Serio airport and Milan Central station. Please check further details here. From Milan Central station, take the metro line M2 (Assago forum/ Abbiategrasso) and take off at Sant’Ambrogio. The University is 3 minutes walk from the station.
Milan has metros, trams, and busses. A single ticket costs EUR 2.00 and is valid on the whole Milan urban network for 90 minutes from validation, but allows only a single journey on the metro. Detailed information about cumulative and multiple-day tickets can be found here.
Participants have to book accommodation themselves. Milan offers a broad range of options, from economy to luxury hotels and B&B. The University is very well connected by public transportation, so you can choose your hotel or accommodation also in other areas of the town. Special rates for conference attendees in hotels in the city centre, nearby Università Cattolica are the following (prices may vary depending on seasons and market conditions):
