HOW TO TAKE PART IN THE CONFERENCE AS A SPEAKER


Papers should last 20 minutes.
    
Short papers should last 10 minutes.

The recruitment of speakers for the Conference (excluding members of the Academic Committee, the Academic Editorial Staff and the Academic Administration) will take place solely by means of a Call for papers. No one will receive a personal invitation.

In order to give a paper at the Conference, the following procedure should be observed:

 

A) PROCEDURE TO GIVE A PAPER FOR UNIVERSITY LECTURERS AND PROFESSORS

1. Specify your name, surname and university.

2. Give the title of your contribution, specifying if it is a paper (to last 20 minutes) or a short paper (to last 10 minutes). Add a short abstract.

3. By 4th November 2020 send the above information to the two email addresses: ida.villa@unicatt.it and angelo.colombo@univ-fcomte.fr 

4. The subject line of the email should read: MONTALE CONFERENCE 2020_ surname and name _ paper or short paper _ number and topic, as they appear in the Topics section (e.g.: 5. Literary pranks by Montale)

A few hours before the beginning a link will be sent to the online Montale conference.

For those who so wish, an attendance certificate will be supplied.

 

B) PROCEDURE TO GIVE A PAPER FOR INDEPENDENT SCHOLARS 


1. Supply: title of your contribution (unpublished and original), specifying if it is a paper (to last 20 minutes) or a short paper (to last 10 minutes); abstract of your paper (4,000 characters, including spaces); 7 keywords; major bibliographical references.

2. By 4th November 2020 send the above information in two files (Word or Pdf) to the two email addresses: ida.villa@unicatt.it and angelo.colombo@univ-fcomte.fr 

2.1. The title of the file (Word and Pdf) should read: MONTALE CONFERENCE 2020_ surname and name _ paper or short paper _ number + topic, as they appear in the Topics section (e.g.: 5. Literary pranks by Montale);

2.2. The subject line of the email should read: MONTALE CONFERENCE 2020_ surname and name _ paper or short paper _ number + topic, as they appear in the Topics section (e.g.: 5. Literary pranks by Montale);

3. The email containing information concerning your paper should also include a Pdf entitled SURNAME NAME_ Personal information and CV_ for Montale Conference 2020. This file should contain all the below-listed data, in the following sequence, with the respective numbering:

1    name and surname,
2.     residency,
3.     citizenship,
4.     passport (specify whether you are Italian or not; a copy of your passport is not required),
5.    postal address,
6.    email address,
7.    telephone numbers,
8.    the most recent academic title obtained,
9.    current profession,
10.    specify if and where (at the time of the Conference) you are carrying out a PhD,
11.    specify if and where (at the time of the Conference) you are carrying out post-doctoral research,
12.    specify if and where (at the time of the Conference) you have been appointed “cultore della materia”,
13.    specify if and where (at the time of the Conference) you are teaching at a university on a contract basis,
14.    list of academic publications,
15.    list of Montale-related publications; Pdfs of these publications should be included.


Within 7th November 2020 those authors whose papers and short papers have been accepted will be contacted.

The list of accepted papers and short papers will be published on the Conference website (https://convegni.unicatt.it/montale: currently being updated).

Within 14th November 2020 speakers must pay the conference fee (the exact fee and payment methods will appear on the Conference website – https://convegni.unicatt.it/montale –, currently being updated). 

Reduced fees will be available for PhD students. Teachers in state schools wishing to attend the Conference as speakers may pay the conference fee via the “bonus” of the “Carta del docente”; teachers in private schools, if registered for a Fondo Interprofessionale, may take advantage of funding connected to the Fondo for which they are registered (see fondi.interprofessionali@unicatt.it).
